Italian Defense Attack Qaddafi - Crisis In Libya 2011

Italian Defense Minister Ignazio La Russa said the Italian jet fighters ready to join with the United States, France and Britain in operation in Libya. "We want to participate equally in this operation," said Ignazio in his statement at the RAI.

La Russa said nine jets were prepared to join with the allies of the United States. The plane was ready to take part in the operation. He also said Italy is ready to take action by preparing a fleet of ships to Libya.

Attack missiles that leveled the United States and British aircraft yesterday on 20 of 22 air defense targets in the Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi. U.S. military officials in the African region, Maj. James Stockman, claimed the attack resulted in a variety of damage in 20 of 22 around the central point of attack on Libyan air defenses. The estimated damage to two other points. Against attack, led the Arab League declared the Arab nation does not want the Western military attacks on civilians. Egyptian news agency quoted the Secretary-General Amr Moussa. Moussa said he asked the Arab League to discuss the situation suddenly in the region, especially Libya.

"What happened in Libya is different from the purpose of no-fly zone enforcement, and what we want is to protect civilians and not bombard civilians," said Moussa.
